Bess Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Bess, a personal AI assistant operated by [OPERATOR] ("we", "us") at mybess.ai. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

Bess is currently offered as a limited pilot to invited users. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We will try to give you notice before we discontinue it, so you have time to delete your data.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Invite codes are personal and may not be resold.

3. Connected accounts

If you connect a Google account, you authorize Bess to access it as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect it at any time. Bess sends email, and creates, changes or deletes calendar events, only after you confirm the exact action.

4. AI output

Bess's replies are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information before you rely on it, especially anything involving health, legal, financial or safety matters. You are responsible for actions you confirm, such as emails you approve sending.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Bess to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• harass, deceive or harm anyone;
• send spam;
• attempt to access other users' spaces or our systems without permission;
• interfere with the service.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You own what you put into Bess. You give us permission to process it only to operate Bess for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content or of Bess's replies to you.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your space at any time from your account page. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Bess is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in Bess before it takes effect. If you keep using Bess after that, you accept the updated terms.
