Bess
Bess is a personal AI assistant. Chat with Bess on the web or over iMessage to get answers, plan your day, keep useful details in your own space, and set reminders for things that matter to you.
Why Bess asks for access to your Google account
Connecting Google is optional. If you connect it, Bess uses your Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts to help you with them:
- Gmail: find and summarize email, send email you approve, and organize messages when you ask.
- Google Calendar: tell you what's coming up and when you're free, manage events after you confirm, and send you notices about upcoming events, which you can turn off.
- Google Contacts: look up contact details when you ask.
Bess sends email and changes your calendar only after you confirm the exact action.
Your data
Your data is stored encrypted in your own space. Bess uses your data only to help you, never for advertising, and it is not used to train AI models. You can disconnect Google, delete a chat, or delete your space at any time. The Privacy Policy explains what Bess accesses, who processes it and how long it is kept.
Google Limited Use
The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
